Meghann Fahy, an Emmy nominee and breakout star of White Lotus and The Perfect Couple, plays Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years who arrives at a fancy restaurant, where she is relieved to discover that her date, Henry (The End of Us), is more charming and handsome than she expected. But their chemistry begins to crumble when Violet becomes increasingly upset and terrified by a series of anonymous phone calls. She has been instructed not to tell anyone and to follow instructions, or the hooded figure she sees on her home security cameras will kill Violet’s young son and his nanny.
