A budding art restorer travels to a small Italian village to restore a medieval painting to its former glory. Little does she know that she is putting her life in danger from a vicious curse and a monster born of myth and savage pain. Terrible, in every way. Non-existent film direction, embarrassing dubbing and a stupid script. They try to quote 80s Italian horror but they end up trashed, the soundtrack is ridiculous to say the least and is used at the wrong times. The only positives are the acting of the main character and the gory scenes. The rest is unfortunately rubbish. We see the passion for the genre but we don’t see any talent or other artistic ambition, this is not the Italian horror we want. Furthermore, it should be emphasized that all the influencers who talk about cinema and express negative opinions and sensitive criticisms about the film have been accused of inefficiency by the film’s official Instagram account. Except for the director who acknowledged them. Shame, that’s not how cinema is made.
